Beyond Syntax is a collaborative project designed to critique, improve, and present ideas related to computer science and computing in general. Not all posts will be of direct interest to you but the ideas may be useful someday.
Topics that might find their way onto this site include (but are not limited to):
- Bugs and gotchyas that we run into with day-to-day programming.
- Tiny scripts and plugins that we write or find useful.
- Processes and other notes from performing uncommon, but automatable tasks (e.g. backing up or rebuilding a system).
- Examples of well (or poorly) written code from a stylistic, logical, or functional viewpoint—and an explanation as to why we believe it is that way.
- General techno-rants.
